My car is laser blue metallic with standard orange front/side and red rear light covers
What are your opinions on the right colour ?

Well there isn't much to work with for these guys. I would go for whatever matches your front and rear indicators.

I have Euro bumper trim on the way supposedly, but until then I have red in the back since it matches the tails, but I smoked my fronts so that they match the bumper.

However, this confuses me greatly !
they are said to be E34 but the indicator etc. is in the wrong place .... can lights really be moved around like this ? or do later E34's have them like this ?

I just bought a set identical to ur bigger pic about 3 months back, it's a 4 pc set incl. 2 pcs which go on the trunk, they're from depo (I know a lot of people dislike this brand ) I bought them for about USD 90 along with the angel eyes which were about USD 150, both of these seem to be working well up to now. Initially I was looking for clear OEMs but I found out these were cheaper than the used clear OEMs I found.
Now i'm just looking for those elusive eye lids.

yeh i agree. the amount of clears i see on cars now that were not built for them is staggereing. drive behind one and when a light comes on for indicating its certainly not orange. I think they suck and if your car looks great but no other ****er can see the turn signal then they need to come off. **** imust be getting old or some thing like it!
