Another Euro Smilie Question

Hi all, I'm a noobie here with BMW's, but loving my newly purchased 92 525. I've been spending the last couple of weeks going through maintenance items, and I am now moving on to other aspects.

Quick question regarding the Euro Smilie Ellipsoids I see on ebay. There are a number of them listed that are for the 88-90 E34. Such as -

I can't find anything that might be different from those years versus the later E34's preventing them to work on my 92.

Anyone have any insight?

Those should work for any model E34. The only thing that changed on the headlights were the projector vs. non projectors on US cars. All the mounting points are the same. Just keep in mind that you will have to make the switch from stock 9006 bulbs to the H1 bulbs that are used in Euro cars.

That's what I was thinking, but just wanted to make sure. Switching bulbs shouldn't be a problem.
