what can I do about these bumpers?

I've attached two pics, one of each bumper. Front bumper paint is scaling/flaking off and back bumper looks like it's just wearing off.

Body shop estimate was close to $500 per bumper to repaint!

Any other ideas of what I can do? Thanks in advance!

Perhaps all you need to do is repaint the top portion of the bumper. If so, it should be much less than $500 per bumper, especially if you can remove the trim etc. without removing the bumpers before prep and spraying.

Just a thought.

Easy job. The bumper is ideal to start DIY paint jobs. Even if there are small parts taken off, there is a special filler material for this. Look at this. Save your $ 500 and do it like this

thanks. Yeah, the other parts of the bumper are fine, just the top in parts is bad.
