two years ago (only 10k miles ago) I had a used automatic transmission installed. I've noticed in th elast two months or so that it seems to "glide" slowly into gears as opposed to the feeling of changing gears. During this "glide" it loses some power. If you press on the gas a little more during this "glide" transition between gears, the RPM increases a little but no increase in speed.
Does this indicate a slipping flywheel? thanks.

You should check the trans fluid level first, then change the filter and the fluid that comes out with the filter.
Use the CORRECT fluid, this is very important!
An automatic transmission does not use a flywheel or pressurplate system like a manual thus cannot slip.
any ideas what it does mean?
