My apologies for not visiting the forum in a while, but I've been tied up with a Jaguar XJ8 I recently acquired. Nice car, but not an E34! Anyhow, the car came with these cool Mille Miglia F20 18" wheels that look terrible on the Jag, but great on the Bimmer. Problem is, after I mounted them on the Bimmer, the inside of the rim was rubbing on the shock. Happens on the front only.
Does anyone know what the minimum clearance should be and if spacers are an available and safe solution?
By the way, anyone wanna buy a 1998 Jag XJ8? Perfect condition, 78k miles. It was an impulse purchase. My wife wants a new kitchen now and this will pay for one third of it. I live in Northern NJ and am asking $12,900 with 2 year unlimited mile warranty.
Thanks,
