I am considering the sale of my 1992 525i that has 183,000 miles and the purchase of a 1999 740i that has 68,000 miles. My 1992 525i is in good condition. I calculated the Kelly Blue Book value for sale to a private party and the value is $3855. Do you feel this value is realistic. The car has been well maintained and the exterior paint and interior leather is in decent shape. The car is black with a parchment interior. I has an aftermarket Alpine single CD player. The tires are Goodyear Eagle GTs and the front and rear shocks have recently been replaced with the stock Boge gas shocks. The wheels are the stock bottle cap wheels.

What is your opinion of the value of the car? If I sell it I will put it in Auto Trader.

Pictures? Let's have a look :) I gather that you will bump the price up to $4200 or so for haggling room right? :p

I want to first make sure that the price is within reason. As far as pictures go I will have to have help from my son to post the pictures. Thanks for your response.
