Hi all,
I have just replaced my E34's tyres with Dunlop SP Sports (metric size wheels) at a cost in sterling equivalent to around $970. Is that expensive (as compares with your prices) or not?

Sounds pretty pricey. Tireack sells SP sport 5000s for $84 each and SP Sport A2 plus for $64 each. After that you'll have to get them mounted and balanced, but the total will still be a lot less.

Well, in Croatia, Toyo Proxes T1S is, like, $300 a piece in 235/45/17 size. That's $1200 + mounting and balancing. How about that? :)

Thanks guys,
Looks as if the USA is the best place for tyre pricing. Croatia compared to even the UK (prices) are ridiculous.

What do you think why I still have the stock 15" wheels? This way, it doesn't cost me a fortune to replace the tyres :)
Even the stock size (205/65/15) is quite expensive - $115 for Federal Formoza FD1 a piece. And they're lightyears behind Toyo/Dunlop/Michelin/Bridgestone.

I just purchased and have received today from UPS two new Dunlop SP Sport 5000 tires. They cost me $89 each. Their link is below. On top of the $89 I paid an additional $10 for each tire for the free replacement warranty. If it gets a nail, cannot be plugged, etc., they will replace it with a new one. They do stand by the warranty, as I have a friend who used them and they had to replace his tire, and he said they followed through and sent him a new one UPS.
