The Black M-tech piece on the truck between the tail lights. Has anyone installed one of those? Does any one have links to those parts? Was it very hard to install?

Easy install. The panel is held with the license plate screw clips. You will also need the cap for the release button.

That's I got to have it. Is it just one piece or a couple of them? do either of you have any numbers for the parts?
Thanks all

It's one piece. I actually got a european one from the dealer and had to drill 4 holes. It was about $46. Or you could just call Patrick @ BMA.

Escuse my ignorance but what difference is there? My car is black so I'm assuming it wouldn't mean anything to me.....I've seen the red "filler" plates some have bought to give that unified look to the tail-lights, but this one is black.....I guess on a light color car it would look different. I think the early M5s had it?

I doesn't do much on a black car, but all BMW's aren't black. Although if you have some cosmetic issues in that area, it'd be a cheap fix.

It sure looks good on a white car.

I've got a US spec one on my black car, definitely provides a nice contrast between the gloss black paint.
