Great big thick rubber bumpers - I wonder why? ;-) It will be easy to spot the women with this car - judging by the size of the doors they will be the ones with biceps like shot putters.

Not to disparage the effort but there are a few show stoppers on the YCC that seem to fly in the face of the common-sense goals of the car. The gull-wing doors pale in comparison to the crappy rear view behind and below the rather high lift-gate glass. At least the Honda CRX had a dark tint glass panel for the lower portion that let you see little kids in the drive way...

It looks like a big "Rubbermaid" version of a Bricklin or DeLorean.

I don't mind the neat tailights, though...hopefully LED or better yet...neon. :)

the article says that the women designed the car to be easy to maintain. My girlfriend just ignores hers, how much easier can you get than that?

we sold a friend of the boss a 95 940 volvo about 10k miles ago, it was in for some stuff they broke this week and while i was test driving it the op light came on during hard braking, nothing touching the stick, i drain the "oil" into a gallon jug and got a tad under two quarts of nasty black crud out of it, it turns out the last time the oil was changed was when i changed it after we bought the car from auction several months ago. he's well known for burnning up motors with no oil

Sounds like my dad and his eclipse with 90,000 miles on the original timing belt (maintenance calls for it at 60k on that engine). He would regularly go 10k miles without an oil change on his jeep. Then people have the nerve to say that the company designed a poor car....

my uncle put 320xxxk miles on the orignal belt before it broke on his nissan sentra, he bought the car new, it was like the first year or two of the sentra in the mid 80s, it broke every valve

I like it, just change some things and it would look good. But i wouldn't like someone to design a car that when they sit behind the wheel they cannot even drive it. Women drivers are not good drivers.
