Does anyone know the part number for the auto-dipping/self-dipping mirror found on the later model E34s? Thanks! :)

From about 2 years ago on my project:
"Ken at a BMW used parts dealer (800-438-2035) and got a great deal ($100) for a e-chrome mirror in perfect shape (pn 51-168-141-176). "
I wired a 3 button garage door opener into my self dimming mirror, like was popular on Mercedes. I have a word document with pictures and description if interested.

I already have the self-dimming mirror (standard on my 95 M540i (Australian edition). Would love to wire the garage opener into it.
Please email details to david.b@beyondpr.com.au
Thanks

if you have the phone harness installed that's the perfect trigger for a opener, on the us cars with the phone crap the wiper switch has a picture of a phone on it, our cars that are pre wired for phone have green and yellow small gauge wires under the center console that can power a opener from the wiper switch

Unfortunately, in the Philippines, there no such thing as a 'junked' Bimmer or Benz, unless the thing literally falls apart on the road. We usually have to order 'junk' parts from the US or a new part from the dealer.

Thanks! Is that a chromed mirror? If it is, would you know the part number for just the plain black one? I live in the Philippines so it's easier to order through the dealer (as long as I have the part number)
Thanks again! :)
