OK in the area where our username, post count, etc., is listed, I vote that a "location" detail also be included.

I just think it would be easier to know where everyone is from by looking instead of asking.

All in favor?

the sig or the line of info under our name...good idea tho would give an immediate idea of car type too euro or US,japanese etc

It's already in the user profile but would be handy in the sig as well.

If it applies, I often refer to the user profile. It's just so much easier in the signature.

Some folks also don't have that field filled in, in the user profile.

I have joined a few other boards for my 330xi, they have "location" and "mein auto" categories (on one site) and "what I drive" on another...
Another site actually has a spot for previous bimmers owned also!
We usually put that under our name, but just a thought...
Also they have avatars beside the name.
None of which is really a big deal, but would be cool.
I don't know if Ed can add those options or not.

I vote no on the avatars issue. It would just increase the load on the server - completely unnecessary.

Sounds like a good idea to me!
I know most of you guys are in the US, but would be handy to easily see who else is in UK / Europe :D
