View Full Version : Auto to Manual Conversion
I'm gathering parts to do a 5-speed conversion on my '90 535. I will install a flywheel from an E28 535 and my question revolves around clutch hydraulics. Can I use the clutch master and slave for an E34 or do I need to use hydraulics for an E28?
I can't wait to get rid of this slushbox!!
Cheers.

Use the e34 hydraulics. Several of us on the board have lightened e28 m30 flywheels with no problems. You'll need the e28 clutch & pressure plate with the e28 flywheel. The e34 m30 flywheel is pinned at different spots.

Okay Martin... not to hijack a thread here... but what's this I hear about a MAF-less M30?
