I have not had A/C in my 535 for years,reason, a shop told me I would need Heater box,condensor,etc,.basically everything.So here I am in Florida and the weather is now starting to heat up.So off I went to an A/C spot and they fill it with R12(why convert if R12 is still available, the original freon lasted 12 years) and the only thing wrong with the car was that it needed a schrader valve.So its cold, then one side is hot,there was a thread here earlier in the week that said just bang the control valve because it might be stuck I think the person said it jokingly but it worked and now I drive with my windows up with the A/C on,finally..

thats great that it worked! now you know what to replace if it stops. couldnt get too much easier
