Sunroof Shade Question??

Hi Guys,
I have a question about my sunroof shade. When I push the button to tilt the sunroof , the glass tilts but the shade does not move back about 5 inches like the 99 540 does. I have to move it back manually. Is there a problem with my mechanism? BTW, it's on the 00 740iL.

yes, something is wrong...what is wrong...I don't know. The shade should move back like you described when you push the button to move it into the "vent" position. You should not have to move the shade back manually.
