They are very rare, and I think only in Germany. When I got in contact with Mark D.'s Europecar Rental car buddy, I forget his name, he told me he could rent me one. A 12 cylinder E34. They are supposed to be phenominally fast on the autobahn.

Anyway, yeah, it's a custom E34. Sounds awsome. I'm here in the Chicago area if anyone is interested in it and wants me to take a look at it for them. I would not mind seeing it in person one bit.

I have seen that in person numerous times and when it was getting tuned. Last thing I heard was that it was getting carbon build-up on the exhaust valves. I would ask the owner about how well it runs, software tuning, and dyno runs showing A/F ratios before submitting a bid.

I just wanted to add that I never saw the car running. It took a long time for the shop to fix the car. If someone here is going to bid, please do ask all the relevant questions as I noted above and questions like, how many times was the head or valve covers were off, how many different shops was the car sent to, why selling?, from exhaust work, to known problems, what kind of front suspension for the added weight, etc.

I am leaving for vacation right about now so I cannot answer any questions about the car for several days.
