1992 525iT compatibile cd player + roof rack question

i recently purchased a 1992 525iT and would like to install a bmw factory cd player (in place of its current aftermarket radio), but am unsure what type of stock bmw cd players will fit. any info would be greatly appreciated.

i'm also looking for a simple roof rack - any suggestions on compatible racks?

and send an email to marty @ marty's cycle shop. He will make you the perfect Thule set up for real cheap...you'll get footpacks and load bars, and it you look at my toys, you can see what you can do with it. I have three different set ups, and they all snap into the same modified footpack. Frankly, the ease of use beats anything Yakima can do, even though they make great carriers and stuff too. Their stuff will mount on Thule load bars, so it's not like their gear is un usable.

let me know if you have further questions. Let us all know if Marty's still even doing this. If he isn't I'd be happy to show you how to modify the Thule footpack to fit in our touring rails. It's a huge shame that this set up isn't still used.
