so i'm taking a poll....
whats your favorite type of beer to drink while turning a wrench on the Bimmer?
I'm gonna have to go with Tucher. Hella expensive over here though, so Yuengling does the job.

If I could get it here, Moose Drool by the Big Sky Brewing Company, Missoula, Montana.

If I had to drink only one beer for the rest of my life it would be Paulaner Hefeweissen. Almost anything Belgian (especially Duvel) is more than acceptable too. Hoegaarten, Negro Modelo, Bass, and Guinness are also on my list of favorites.
Cheers!

There is a microbrewery (Tring Breweries) round the back of where I work, their best is "Death or Glory" @ 7.5% alcohol - mmm, nice - why is the room spinning?

most i ever had was by a micro-brewery around my house. Made a beer called the 'Blithering Idiot' something like 12.1%. Wow....lets just say kick back a few of those and you'll be good ;)

There's a belgian called Scaldis that is 13.5, it tastes strong, but quite drinkable. Certainly everyone's tolerance varies [ahem], but two of those is equivalent to a six pack of Bud, so a few would really put the hurt on most people.
My family has friends in Belgium - they have excellent stories about what happens when Americans who think they can hold their liquor have a few of their brews. I think it's more than the alcohol content, there is something extra in their beers that just puts you either right on or over the edge (depending on your restraint).
Good stuff!
