I have had one laying around for a LONG time and never used it. I don't even have oil for it. I've seen them online for $37+ship so I'll dump it for $20 including shipping to anywhere in the US. I have paypal and that is the easiest way to get cash to me. PM me on this board

Is it the drop in filter or the cold-air intake??

For those of you who might scoff at such an idea, a k&n filter alone is simply a higher quality filter. To the best of my knowledge, it uses cotton and oils to filter the air, rather than a more constrictive but less efficient ordinary filter. Performence issues aside, the k&n's are reusable, so you those of you who want an economical solution then this is probably for you.

It's not necessarily a higher quality filter. If it was, I wouldn't be getting rid of it. There are some people that want one no matter what research and data reflect.

I ran a K&N filter for 3K miles, no performance or fuel economy enhancements. There's lots of talk about them ruining MAFs and filtering not well. I didn't experience any of that, maybe 3K miles was too short. Anyway, about a reusable filter being more economical, a regular filter needs to be changed every 15K or 30K miles (not sure), and it's only what, 10 bucks or so?
