E39 Sunroof, glass panel option?

Guys,

I was poking around a local import junkyard today, and noticed a recently arrived E39 528i with glass moonroof. I assume that this was an option, as I don't remember seeing this on many E39's. Can anyone confirm this?? Anyone interested in this for their E39?? Let me know.

I have seen glass moonroofs for the E30 sell in the $500 range- I even sold one that was in fair condition for $400- any idea what the E39 glass panel is worth or what it cost new?

All the E39 sedan roof panels I've seen here are glass. They have a cover panel on the inside that slides to let the sun in with the roof still being closed.
