I've got an '89 535i (E34). It's been handed down through the family, so it's been well kept. I (with the help of bimmer.info) swapped out the springs a few months ago, and the operation was a complete success.
Now we're leaking brake fluid. The sensor gets tripped every few weeks and I top it off. I can see moisture around the reservoir, where the reservoir connects to... whatever it connects to. I can see fluid splattered underneat the reservoir.
Does anyone have any idea what would be a common cause? Is there a cracked seal buried in there somewhere?
Admittedly, I haven't dug through my Bentley manual yet. If you know there's a solution there, feel free to point me there.
Thanks in advance for any ideas,
Norman
