ive been looking for a 3.5 doner car for a while now and today i was flicking through my local classifieds and thought my birthday and christmas had come in one:-
535i M5 lookalike,89k miles,not repairable,breaking phone for prices,
so, i phone up and ask how much for the whole car as is, he tells me that the bumpers are untouched (heavy side impact)and gives me a good price,so, i arrange to view!
when i get there i pull into the car park and from about 70 yards i see the car and its the same colour as mine, so im getting really excited now i get my engine, loom and running gear and have the added bonus of M5 front and rear bumpers in my colour :D , NO :( , as i pull up to the car the only thing this car has in common with an M5 is the badge on the grill and bootlid(trunk). and to add insult to injury, the engine sounded like it had done 89 million miles and was smoking more than cheech and chongs dayvan.
anyways why do people put //M badges on and call it a lookalike?????? :(
rant over.
