Door Open!

for some reason today the door open message keeps coming up while im driving... i know all the doors are closed cuz i pulled over and opened and shut each door any help on this matter is highly appreciated TIA :D

Check the contacts in the doors. Maybe one of them is jammed or needs cleaning.

yea the lights come on and everything! at times the gong would go off repeatedly 5 or 6 times

Do a search of this forum, this issue comes up time and time again.

Basically it's usually due to wear in the pin on the b-pillar that the lock wraps around - usually the drivers door. The proper way to fix it is to remove the door panel and adjust the switch in the door lock. My way was to wrap electrical tape around the b-pillar pin to thicken it and remove the slack.
