M5 Sway-bar question

No, it's not a "which bar do you use" question... :D

Anyone have experience buying used bars? I guess the question is, after 10 years of use, would sway-bars be too soft?

My 530i is a '94. The M Bars are roughly the same age.

Additionally, are the links the same?

I doubt that stabilizer bars would weaken much over their life.

End links for the front are the same. The rear bar has a taper at each end so the links are the same for various diameter bars as well. FWIW, new links would be preferred as the fronts always wear out and the rears would likely be fused to your old bar and tear on removal. Cheap enough to do whilst in the works.
