How to Check Trans fluid level

I see a lot of posts regarding change the lifetime fluid, but none that mention how to check the fluid level.

Is that possible? And what's the procedure?

The owner's manual recommends it be performed by your dealer.
It's a 92 535 with over 200K.

check the dipstick just like any other transmission, Engine warmed up and running, in park or neutral with the e brake on.Remove dipstick by pushing the hand in the direction of the arrow on top and pulling it out ,wipe off and reinsert, remove and check.
