hello everybody,

yet another fine forum on the 5 series!

help me out here guys (and girls too!)....having got an almost new one-piece exhaust system for an E34 525 (I love the twin pipe system as opposed to the single pipe fitted to my 520 at present), and ordering the extra mounting bracket and various bits and pieces, I now need to view the extra welded bracket on the rear subframe......the breakers round here are having a shortage of suitable 525s for me to take a few pictures and measurements to allow me to manufactue a bracket

please can some one do the honours and either post some clear pictures or diagrams showing the 525 centre brackets particularly with regard to the subframe brackets that secure the removable ones (the one i now have in my greasy palms!)

thanks in advance for any help!

nah! I used the epc to get the numbers of the bits i ordered. This listing doesn't do the "oh thats how it should look!" picture you need every once in a while (neither does the Bentley or the Haynes "this might be right" manual!)

thanks anyway!

Oh sorry I've posted this request twice, thinking it didn't work the first time

would hook you up, guess i'm a 'slow adopter' as i've got 3 really nice old manual cameras (nikon x2 and cannon) but no digicam. why - cause the 525 is going on the lift in a few minutes to get new lower control arms....

good luck. maybe just need to be creative?
