What so "cool" about this? It looks like a waste of time and money just skidding all over the place. What the big deal? I know a few guys over in Oakland that do the same at their "sideshows"!

Yeah just unburnt fuel igniting from the exhaust - obviously turboed and has to overfuel at some points...

That can be said about anything other than plopping your butt in the car and sowly and carefully driving to work or market.....we drive BMW's cause we like the feeling of G's going around a corner...getting the car to it's limits and understanding what it takes to keep it there......drifting is just that....controlling oversteer....lots of fun..try it if you can...you might like it...or sell your BMW and buy a Hyundai........yea little good natured sarcasm....(-:

That's what I thought, but the flame came from under the car not from the exhaust. Shortly after the flame the car stopped. BTW I didn't see aproblem with his tire.

I'll have to take a look at the clip again, but usually the fuel ignites from the heat of the exhaust on a a shift, which is why it would stop.
Also, I hafta agree with callen, everytime I take my car out for a spin just to enjoy the drive, it's really a waste of time and money, but I still enjoy it.
