i am trying to find a scanner program for a 1991 525. I have access to an OTC Genesis and a Snap-on mt2500. Otc doesn't carry software, and Snap-on has discontinued that scanner. Is there any other software out there? I am looking for full function software, not just code readers.

for the snap on off the truck the adaptor goes around $90 and they don't sell just a bmw cartrage anymore just aditional programing for the new style flash programed cartrages, that adaptor/cartrage sale for around $250 wouldn't be a bad deal even if you needed to pop it at $300
i run a mtg 2500 aka graphing brick and it's pretty cool, the newer the car the more cool **** it does, 97 and up and you can read climate control and instrment cluster codes/info
