Hey guys, looking to buy a 2002, color irrelevant, but I have a few questions.
Do they have limited slip differentials.
Is putting an M50 motor in one a common practice?
Is it possible?
How badly do they rust?
We have about $8k to spend on a car w/ about $6k for repair and modification.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Does anyone know of any for sale? I am trying to get an idea on how much to spend for a decent one. I know a few @ Bimmers only but are PURE track cars... which may be our final choice but im not sure if we want a show vs. track car.

....mostly about 2002's. And it's in SLO, CA where billy and kiNGMak live. A few are listed in the classifed link too. Look in the classified section of Roundel magazine too. They look fun but I bet they are money pits.
