It's sad to see it all covered up during the cold dark winter months. Maybe we'll have a couple of nice weekends with clear roads (nosaltnosnow) and she'll be able to breath some of that nice dense cold air. So far the start of the season has been incredibly mild here in the Midwest.

I need to know the address where the car is being stored and the times that you are not going to be around. As I plan to steal it when you are not looking :) Great looking ride.

"Cold dark winter months!?!?" Sorry, but I don't know what that means!?
Jr. I have a deal for you- I am willing to move my riding lawnmower to the back patio & in return park your M5 in my garage next to the M3 for the winter months. The M5 will be well taken care of & driven once a week- just enough to keep the dust off the valves- Visitation privledges anytime of course :D Please take a look- it would fit in just nice ;)

OMG
Don Where were you when we did the thread with people posting pictures of their garages?

Your garage is worthy of Jr's M5 and that is saying something!

Now Don, you're not mowing the Bermuda with that Troy Bilt are you?? Your garage is gorgeous! Makes me want to build a new house too! Along with the E30 M3 posters decorating your walls, I love the E30 kidneys hanging on the wall. And what pray tell is that tucked into the corner? Are those all E30 M3's? Nice collection.
The ///M5 would be proud to park in that garage, but she insists on a humidity controlled enviroment. Keeps those throttle bodies sparkling and the rotors shiny. You better be parking the touring in the 3rd stall....for shame if she sits out.
If I've ever lost my way and end up in sunny FLA, we would have to boot out the Troy Bilt, that's for sure!! =)

Thanks for the kind words Jr. Just trying to give you a "plan B" to your winter storage thoughts :D Actually the Troy Built does a pretty good job- My 3 year old likes it because it's RED "like Daddy's RACE CAR!" LOL :)
Gayle- When I caught the "Garage" pic post thread it was already archived & could not post a reply :( Believe me, I wanted to show off the rest of the pics in that thread!

Garages in the South are much nicer than our Northern types. We are just trying to keep from scraping the snow and ice off the windshield in the early morning. Then drive all day in the slush, so that it cakes between the tires and the fenders. Then, pull it into the garage in the evening, after the day is done. Having a 16' wide door open quickly drops the temperature in an otherwise 45-50 degree garage, especially when it's below 0 degrees outside. But not to worry, as the engine heat will bring the temp back up to 60 degrees pretty quick, and then, all the packed snow starts plopping off the car in big chunks. Then you have to sweep the crap out of the garage so it doesn't leave a nice salty mess.
This procedure is nothing new to anyone who lives here in the Northern Hemisphere, it's the price we pay for ????, quick, someone remind me what we're paying for here....
So you see Don, the Troy Bilt would be sporting a set of chains and a plow on the front of it this time of year for clearing the snow off the drive.
I used to make fun of the "snowbirds" when I lived in the South, now it looks like I could be one of them! =) Now you know why your population doubles in the winter months....hey, you got any nice homes for sale in your area??? =) =)

we pay to see snow fall, flowers bloom, and leaves changing colors dammit.......which is much nice than warm temps, no road salt, year-round beaches and......
maybe our value systems are screwed up JR? We both need to find a place to store our M5s together.....then the garage door will NEVER open and we'll never have to worry......except for the random, perfectly dry 50F winter days when exercising the M5 would be the only logical thing to do!

I hate that I have been wearing shorts all month. We in the south pay too... It's called vacation (skiing, trip to Maine in the fall). Flowers? Well, we have those year round. The best thing about moving from Pittsburgh? Selling the snow shovel with the house.:D
Quick edit here:
I do need to grouse about the weather. Put the top up on the 330 today. Stupid rain.
