slightly OT / ipod connection

Anyone have any good experiences with the cassette adapters for the ipod players with our stock bmw stereos. I read bad things about the Monster Cable one, but better things with the Sony model.

I have an old one I bought circa 1992. It works perfectly. The sound quality is like very good FM radio. That is, far from CD quality, but also far from objectionable.

Compared to the other options for getting your iPod to play through your car's speakers, this is by far the best one until you start spending big bucks or get very creative with wiring.
