I'm very skeptical of their horsepower claims. thats around 800rwhp. Show me one dyno graph. Is this "Mert's" car that they talk about in bimmerforums.com? I note no boost controller. I love the pics though.

Nice pics. High price!. Yes, that turbo can pump up to 1000 hp but I doubt if the block and the rest can take it for long.
I estimate 650HP would be reasonable. 1000Hp seems far fetched, well not with just 30 psi or even at claimed max of 38 psi.
In any case, this car would be very difficult to drive and extremely dangerous at that.
Ignition system looks good, some similarity to PlasmaCoils ?.

Holy ****, 30psi! And check out the size of that turbo! It's bigger than my head.

I believe the HP claims. I just don't understand how they put the power down without lunching the drivetrain.

Used M3 ($15,000) + Turbo kit ($22,500) = Lambo killer!

Not bad. D'you think it's DRIVEABLE?

How the hell do they slow it all down? I don't see brakes on there. If it costs $22,500 just to get the HP, it probably costs another $20k to build the rest of the car up to handle it.

In the real world, do you think a 1000hp M3 can really be distinguished from a 500hp M3?

Tell me! I need to know what to dream of!

Oh. Thanks.

This reminds me of the TVR Cerbera Speed 12 (http://www.tyresmoke.net/ubbthreads/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/2696/an/0/page/0) -- an 800bhp monster that even Peter Wheeler, the former power-crazy owner/manager of TVR, declared to be ridiculous, undriveable and downright dangerous.

And this thing has 200bhp on that!

The Speed 12 only weighed about 2200lb (I think) and had a race clutch and gearbox as well, which would made it rather trickier to drive smoothly than this. It is a humongous turbo, but they say the lag is not huge and the power delivery is smooth.... I dunno how credible that is, just quoting the text. Just looking through it though, it seems like a really well engineered package. I would love to say that my car made 1000hp.

see but i dont believe it's "used M3"...since it's got 4 doors. Might be just M3 body kit and wheels? Dunno, but it does look very nice :)

Well, the E36 M3 came in four- as well as two-door versions. I hope they make the E90 M3 as a four door also, because I kind of actually prefer it to the coupe.

the 4 door m3's are quite rare and cool
i wonder if they'll warranty that motor?

Hehe, both about same until 500Hp I guess. To get to 8300 rpm will take some seconds for the pressure to build. One misfire and the engine is completely toast!.
Yeah, that clutch, drive-line will break past 800hp if the delivery is as violent as I think.

The driver would probably see his rear axle speeding ahead of him just before the car collapsed into a thump! Yikes, that Lambo is already way ahead now....

Nice kit. The turbo is located just like a 944 turbo. Apparently not best for response but works I guess. I wonder about their injectors. I run a GT30 ball bearing on my 3.5L and run out of injectors at 20psi using a massive fuel pump and rising rate regulator. I don't know how they can fuel 1000hp and still have good drivability "like a 760i", must be really good injectors. Mine are a few years old and 770cc I think. They must be using massive injectors. I have been told modern low impedance injectors are far better now than they were so it could be mine are just shitty.

1000hp sounds doable at 30psi with an 8.5:1 CR and the good 4 valve head the M3 has to start with. Very nice.

Not sure about the glowling remarks about the ability of the box and rear end at 1000hp.
