Ok , this is the deal with my 89 535i; My wife and I bought this car a few years ago and I always thought of the car as a nice four door sedan , and I always spent all my time and money on my M3 but after I sold the car and had to get a work truck . I started looking at the 535i and saying to myself , well maybe some rims won't look that bad, then maybe some clears; anyways to my wife's displeasure the car stopped being the nice 4 door sedan that she drove to the supermarket, specially after I lowered the car (that was the straw that broke the camel's back), well.. after much arguing about how she hated the lowered suspension and she didn't want the windows to be tinted, and bla bla bla ; we agreed that I should get another car and do what I want with it.
Well my first idea was to get an nice e36, but then I thought about it and I decided to look for a nice 535i, I just fell in love with the M30 engine and I realized how much potential does the e34 have. I found a nice deal on a 1991 535i and I'm going to switch all my mods to it , plus I already ordered a racyng dinamics bodykit and even FI is not out of the question.

the engine bay is kind of nasty but when I do a valve adjustment I will paint the valve cover and clean everything up.

The wheels are 18" Voxx wheels I got the on ebay a while back and I'm truly surprised of how strong they are, I never expected them to last this long.

I already bough another car, that's unmodded, but she likes her car, and I like the 1991, dark blue 535i that I got, taking my mods to the other car is easy all I'm acctually taking is my rims , and the suspencion (bilsteins and vogtland springs) that I can swap myself in half a day.

I would say that they are not the most comfortable springs ever, but when You lower the car is something that you would expect but the car handles a lot better and it looks good(in my opinion), the problem is that every little pothole you drive over feels like the car is going to fall apart.
