My wife always wanted angel eyes so I put some on the touring for her. The wiring that comes with them wants me to hook up the rings to the supplied relay then wire power and ground to the battery, and the relay to the light on source. Can't I just hook these up like city lights and patch them into the park lights?
I know a lot of you don't like these lights so I'm not really looking for comments on that. She wanted them and it's her car.
Thanks for any help.

Yes, you can. Works just fine. Skip all the other wiring.

one thing you should know when you install these is that the relay that comes with the lights is a piece of shxt and will die if you get moisture on it.. mine went after 4 weeks (unprotected in the engine bay). i replaced it with a nice one for 30-40 bucks and it has been fine now for 14 months or so
having said that.. maybe i am the only one who experienced the relay failure?

Why did you use the relay if you wired them off the side lights?

Let me get the rings hooked up and I'll take some. I wasn't a big fan of these lights before but they look pretty good on her car. Plus her stocks were terrible and I got a great deal on these.

No relay needed....Unecessary complications. Chop everything out n just tap em into the parking lights.

Slighty off topic, but have you guys ever found a unused connection near the washer tank area?? I found one that was capped off, and have no clue what its for.
