A Couple of Auto Trans Probs

Couple of little problems with my auto trans that you guys might shed some light on. First off though , I had an Inspection 2 done two weeks ago (includes an auto trans service) and my mechanic says there's nothing wrong with it. But occasionally they'll be a clunk on downshifting, from third into second I think (this has always happened, and not very frequently). The other thing is that the trans will hunt for a gear (has only happened twice so far, and only since the Insp 2), the first time was under hard acceleration and the second time was when I was coasting (in gear) up to a set of traffic lights. Trans is in economy mode.

Any ideas guys?
