I fitted new tyres today, Bridgestone SO3's, 235/45ZR17 and need help with the pressures to use front and back with a light load and heavy load. The fitment centre recommended using 22 with a light and 26 with a heavy load, but it doesn't sound right to me. Any suggestions...

Correct pressure 38F/41R for the 45 series tires. Run them much lower and risk sidewall damage from potholes.

Since we're talking about pressure.. how about on the stock basketweaves?
Just got a set of Hakkapeliita RSi's 205/65R15... I remember should those also be run at the higher pressure? or not as critical due to the increased sidewall heigh?

Stick with 32 front and 35 rear... if too stiff of a ride.. go for 30/33.5

I use 34 front 36 rear. 15 inch rims with 225 tyres.
"Correct pressure 38F/41R for the 45 series tires. Run them much lower and risk sidewall damage from potholes." - I agree. Lower profile tyres need higher pressures, so 38 front and 41 rear should be just fine.
What about staggered rims? I currently have 17x8 F 235/4517 & 17x9 R 245/40/17. Thank you in advance.

MTV, that's close enough to OEM staggered 235/255 that the 38/41 on my door sill for pressure should work for you too. I run them per the plate and I've never had a ding in the rim, notwithstanding the crappy raods around where I live...

The dealer recommended 33F/36R on my Cooper 205/65R15 snows. I've been very pleased with the ride.
