A coworker with a '91 525iT had the arm rest on the driver's seat break, i.e. it no longer locks into place. Has anyone repaired these or have suggestions before he opens it up? TIA.

I wrote a detailed explanation of the whole procedure and sent some pictures I took to one member of this board. If I still have it in archives I could forward the whole works to you, or whoever is interested.
