Hard start/Rough idle

I went to move my car in the garage today and it took 2 times to start and then idled really rough, almost like it was going to die. I gave it some gas, and after several minutes it smoothed out. This is the 2nd time this has happened in about a month. Spark plugs are less than 10k miles. Any ideas?

I'm experiencing a similar issue, although mine is pretty much every time the car is started. I've determined that my fuel pressure is too low...perhaps your fuel pump or filter may need replacement. I found a fuel pressure gauge at Autozone and some extra fittings at Lowe's and tapped into my fuel line in the engine bay. You may want to do the same and see where you stand on fuel delivery (mine cranks out 26psi while the required pressure is 43.5 psi) My $.02

Mbo, if the car was just started and then stopped, chances are it was still loaded and it was flooded out when you went to restart it. It shouldn'tve taken several minutes to smooth out, though. Maybe 30 seconds, max.

I guess until it does it constantly I am not going to worry about it. The fuel filter was changed recently. The pump however is original with 175K miles on it.
