Which alternator in the E34 has more amps an auto or 5-speed??

I have an E34 touring and was looking to upgrade the alternator. I wanted to know which one has more amps the auto or and 5-speed??

which ever one they decided to install at the time the cars was built, the m50 motor has had everything from 80 amp to 140 amp units with 4 or 5 different ones, valeo sucks!!! and the older style bosch (big and square) seem to have crappy bearings the later bosch are the good ones

How would I know which ones came with the 140 amp because I think I have the valeo
