If you're not having any luck with the circle website, check this one www.pacificbmw.com they are listing their BMW mats for $89. Depending on what part of the country you are in, the prices are close.
At least it's something to look at..

My BavAuto all-weather mats just arrived yesterday... set of 4 rubber mats for 50 bucks, custom-fit with the lip around the edges (not just hacked out of a big roll of rubber), and the biggest surprise for me was that the mats actually have a "nubbed" backing to keep them in place. Since I don't have money burnin holes in my pocket, I definitely thought these were a worthy choice.

Circle BMW also sells OEM black rubber mats if you look under their accessories (http://www.circlebmw.com/parts/acc.htm). They're double the money, but some seem to like them. Come springtime after the muck weather I want to get the OEM cloth mats like what came with the car... or not; these BavAutos are sure lookin nice right now :)

I got my mats from BavAuto, i got the basic ones for i think $100 about 6 months ago. I would advise against buying them, the backing is just foam and its prone to slide into the bend in the floor. Both my passenger and drivers side mats have deep creases in them now.

ditto to that... bavauto carpet mats (like my old "custom-embroidered" ones) are not too hot. My driver's side crease is so big that it has folded back on itself, ugh. Those will be seeing the dumster pretty soon...

The link doesn't work. I have had good luck with mats from the dealer in prior BMWs we have owned. Pricey but looked nice and held up well.

I got the plush mats from Bav auto and would NOT recommend them.
The coloring is wrong, and they feel cheap and flimsy.

The Genuine BMW mats with the reinforced heel pad are very high quality and reasonably priced with respect to some of the junk out there. They have the built-in hooks/pins to lock to the floor too. Plus they match the colors perfectly and last forever. If you can get a set for $89, you can't beat them.

I dig the BMW (oe) rubber mats...originally I thought I'd just use them for winter...but then spring, summer, and fall came and I just kept them in because they are soooo easy to take care of. Either a damp rag to wipe off prints etc...and just a simple dump to get rid of "chunkier" debris! :D

They are well made, stay pliable, can handle melting snow without dumping water onto the car's carpet, fit every nuance of the floor pan, and come with floor anchors to keep them snuggly in place. What more could you ask!? ;)

You know what I never liked about rubber mats? They tend to hold water which keeps your feet wet -- especially if you're in and out of the car a lot in icy/snowy weather -- and when your shoes are wet, they slip of the pedals a lot easier. Plus, when they look awful with the least bit of dirt on them.

If the BMW rubber mats were flat...there'd be no argument...but the rubber mats design has to be considered in this situation...snow melts and runs down into the indented maze in the design of the mats...so your shoes are always on a dry surface...never sitting in water. Plus your driving foot is usually always elevated anyways (against the accelerator or brake pedal). And I would think that melted snow soaked into the fibers of a carpeted mat would pose the problem you present moreso than a non aborbant material like the rubber mats which have a designed channel to move liquids away from the top surface. As far as the dust left over after the water evaporates...instead of pulling out the vacuum to clean the mats or pulling the mats out to vaccum them...all it takes is a wipe with a damp cloth or towel...VOILA! :D

Is there any mat (carpet or rubber) that looks good with dirt on it? :p

Just for a change though...I might put the carpeted mats back in this spring. :D

those rubber mats are expensive...you can get some generic rubber mats for like $50 a set
