Coolant question

Quick Question. Is it alright to just top off the coolant in the reservoir, or will I disrupt the pressure and cause it to leak???

the coolant expansion tank is where you're suppose to fill your cooling system. And do it when the engine is cool. :) There should be a mark on the coolant expansion tank that has a fill line for cold engine. :D

right, with the trusty V8 theres no need to worry about air pockets and bleeding...add to the full mark and drive on.

Thanks guys, that's what I thought, but I wanted to ask the experts. The stupid manual that came with my car was meant for the 525 and M5 models, and I remebered something about pressurizing it with an airhose after adding coolant or something. All there is is a stupid 4 page "auxilary booklet" that says some things about the 530 model.
