I saw a refrigerator made for the E34 and was wondering if anybody knows where I can get one?

and both were made by WAECO in Germany.
One for the front armrest,
the other one for the rear armrest.

But they are very rare to get nowadays and cost a lot of money.
There is actually only one on the market at the moment, I wonder how much that will fetch

WAECO has now the Tropicool Borad Bar and Armrest box, which is held by the center seat belt. That is not bad and reasonably priced/ See here an offer from Germany

Most motor factor shops sell small coolers that run off the cigar lighter socket. i'm sure there'd be one out there the right dimension to fit the aperture or even sit in the trunk/boot.
Be warned..even tho these are not fridges they will eat the charge & soon flatten the battery if left turned on!

I have a fridge installed in my Highline 750iL. Never used so far. Just as storage.

In a Highline version there are 2 aircon systems, one for the front, another one between the front and rear seats, and there are coolant pipes from the rear into the engine room. The rear ac system is for the rear passengers and the cooling of the fridge box which is located between the rear seats. Actually the Highline is only a 4-seater. Then the 750 has 2 alternators and 2 batteries to cope with all that.
That is when the parts are out

the one only for the rear ac and the fridge

And that is how it looks when installed, under the cover in center between the seats in the rear the fridge is installed

HOLY CRAP! That is one hell of a refrigeration system. I was thinking about bidding on the fridge on eBay, but I'll have to wait and see how that price goes. Do you have any experience with the stock Waeco fridge.

Last year WAECO found about 5 original ones for E32 and E32 in the farest corner in their warehouse in Germany, brand new so to speak, old but never used.
They offered them on German Ebay and they went for abt. 350 EURO in average.
If you do not stick to "Original is best", then I would buy one like this WAECO ToipiCool or similar. You can remove it easy when you need more seat space.
And it is much cheaper. That thing in the U.K. from the E34 will go skyhigh, I can already tell you know.
People from Germany, U.K., and in USA watch it on other boards.
We will soon know the price.
Buy better this Tropicool
