I would also be a bit interested in finding the parts for a ski bag, to at least see what the potential cost might be. Once you have punched through the passage though, wouldnt the thick section of leather get in the way? How would one deal with that?

on my car the middle of the rear seat folds down, behind that the leather is velcro'd to the top. The carpet piece in the trunk can be unscrewed and lowered or with some finesse you could cut a hole in it and trim it out.

I would simply punch the middle out... cut the carpet trunk liner to size of the opening... then cut a cheap ski sack on one end to create opening.. Use a new similar fabric to make the transition and you are done... a cheap ski sack. Let your imagination run wild... You can even make your own padded ski sack with your own material available at your local Rag shop

Anyone retrofitted a ski-sack/bag? How hard is it to knock out the hole in the metal sheeting?
Anyone got any tips? I have all the parts, just need some guidance.
Cheers

Got bored and kicked out the panel the other day. No, I'm kidding - needed to get into the boot as the lock seized. Took a hammer to it and gave it a good tap. It's only connected at a couple of points that snap easily. But beware - its friggin sharp.

Bought the full kit out of a 1995 M5 - split boot liner, plastic outer bits etc - so hopefully I have everything I need!
Cheers

Bret, you should have a sticky in the swap section, so the nubes know to check with you first!
There is a guy looking to get his seats re-done... hook him up!:D
