my beauty is about to hit 150,000 miles. i just hit 149k and will be taking it cross country from Maryland to California next month. besides the inspection I and II checklists, anything else I should look out for?

i am far from worried about it breaking down all of a sudden :) just making sure to cover my tracks.

Hopefully the auto tranny is holding up well. Just read about 3 E34 auto trannies having died at around that exact mileage. That's too many E34s stranded in one day, sigh...

what are the signs to auto trannies dying? or does it just happen one day??
