the guy with the pair? those are glock 18's got a friend that shot out a light in the range trying to shoot one, it's a little buzzy for my likeing, you want something that fun and easy to handle play with something like a sten or sterling or grease gun, some people say a ak is uncontrolable full auto but it's not that bad but it does rise a little, i can keep a whole magazine on a pizza box sized target at 25 yards on one burst

MG42 is a work of art and efficiency, at up to 1200 rounds per second and with a roller locking bolt that is still used today by HK...A master piece.

The MG34 is a machinist's wet dream, but I love the attention paid to the contruction and the crazy twisty bolt system.

The 1919 is a real beast when compared to the MGs.. kinda like Chevys vs BMWs

will thought about building a mg34 but everybody talks about what a bitch they are to get running properly so that discuraged him from doing one, he is working on a single shot 50 using a ma deuce barrel that will probably be suppressed :D

i'd post a video of me shooting the full auto mp5, but i can't black out my face from it, and i'd rather not have something like that on the internet with my face on it.

anyway....i wouldn't be posting it because it adds anything to the conversation, but because the video is somewhat remarkable. it was taken with a reasonably decent digital camera, but when you watch it, you only see three flashes from the barrel in about 3 seconds. during that time, however, it has discharged between 12 and 15 rounds, as the bullets are flying too fast for the camera/lens to even "notice" the additional rounds. you can't even tell from the force the SMG hits my shoulder, as it looks like im firing 3-5 single shots during the time, the mp5 is a very thoughtful, manageable firearm. i say 12-15 rounds because i tell the story/show the video a lot, and im certain that i put in about 1/4 box of sellier+ bellot 9mm into it before i had the video taken, and a box has about 50, so 1/4 of 50~12 or so. might have been one in there previous.

5 years ago, there were a lot of class III gun shops in orlando that catered to the obvious tourists in orlando that wanted to fire a machine gun before they went back to where "they came from", now, its only the one. if anyone is interested and going to be in orlando, i can tell you which one in pm or such. they don't advertise they have class III, so i wouldn't want to do it for them. they have for rent (in full auto): a tommy submachine gun, the mp5, a uzi, a russian PPsH, some kind of ar-15 variant that has been converted to fire 9mms in full auto, and some manner of full auto shotgun (i wanna say saiga, but i don't know if they ever made a full auto saiga). cost is $25 to rent a gun, but you have to use their ammo (which is expensive), and it goes fast. plus range time (8-10$ per day), plus targets and crap. cost to take me and 4 other people there for 1.5 hours came out to about $135, and we were being conservative with the SMG ammo (and i had somebody over shooting my gun, wasn't like there was always someone hammering on the machine gun the whole time.

receiver deal to start out with, and mill the rest.

Trying to MIG the old cut up one is too hard and dangerous.
