Wait until you see the interior, all new gage package, custom billet aluminum center consol, ferrari style ac plenums, all custom fab'd suspension pieces, sway stuff, 1200 watts of power and one of the cleanest speaker installs I've ever seen..it's pretty sick. About $18k all in, but his labor's worth about $50k
Oh, and rolled and cut in those fenders himself. That whole front dam is from scratch. The rear foil is totally custom out of aluminum to match the CSL, the skirts are hand made, the rear deck is a little ricey, but hey, he also put a caddilac trunk hinge on there too...he's got a sense of humor to do all this to a twice wrecked 2800CS, which is why I call it the franken c. He keeps a meat thermometer in the ac to make sure he's blowing 39'F.
Went so deep into a turn he cracked the windshield and popped off the dash, hence the custom sway work. It's stiff now, and with all that meat, there's little braking on long sweepers at 90

Coupe is a stunner.
Suspension and molding and the touring will be rockin'. Diggin' the M-Systems also, what color are the covers sprayed?

I think those rear sidemarkers are from a 944 porsche.
I think this should be his next project. I'd like to see him Franken one a dees

Tstars are diamont schwarz, as should be the Mtrim, but it didn't match. It may yet still if my negotiation skills with the painter are up to it.

The man is an artist. This is among the nicest designs: the purity of the lines, well balanced, simple... this thing is close to perfection.

what makes the touring a sleeper?

If having a 3.8 under the hood but without M badges qualifies as a sleeper, then no, I don't have a sleeper. I merely have a 3.0 v8 pig debadged 530 with Mtech body kit, t-stars, oem smileys, and clear markers everywhere. If d'Sylva would make me a chip and I put an M5 front brakes and suspension on, would that qualify me?
I have just a slightly out of the ordinary tastefully upgraded tourer

Amazing, amazing, amazing, simply amazing. There is a 3.0 "project" car up on ebay... Seeing this kind of potential actualized is enough to make a person do something VERY stupid...

I don't think he was being smart, merely wondering. I was kind of wondering the same thing.
As far as a chip goes, contact Mark before you give up on it, in most cases he'll do a Beta chip for you. I know he's been busy lately, so be patient if you're interested.
Also, suspension would be a really beneficial modification...I vote for H&R Sport/Bilstein Sports.

I love the iT, but that CSL, my dear God! Probably the nicest I have ever seen, and those cars are pure car porn for me. The toughest decision in my life will be when I can again afford a toy, because I will have to choose between a 3.0 CSi and a '69-'73 911. I think we need further pics of the engine and interior, don't tease us man!

I really need to head over to Austin and check out your cars!! Was that CSL at Terry's shop a while back?
