Anyone chipped their 95, 530iA, M60 and notice improvements? If so, what did you notice and what chip did you buy?

rumor has it there's an EAT in the making for a 530i, some of the guys that have them (632regal for one) could probly tell you more about options and if there are any other options out

I got a JC chip, will buy Marks too if its ~ever done ;)

I noticed the power came on a little earlier and stronger up the rpms. I wouldnt want to go back to the stock chip at all. A slight improvement in mpg on the highway too.

Pop one of them in and a 3:64 rear gear and you have a whole new car.

Thanks for the info. I was not sure the chip made much difference as my 530iA is relatively slow from start and good at higher RPMs. I chipped my son's e36 and it is definitely better and more sporty even with an Auto.

Which chip is better and why?

Do you have the 3.64 Diff? What car can I get this from for my 530iA?

~I got it from Rigmaster, a few people save and sell parts on here, put an ad in th classifieds or PM Rigmaster.

sport cams on a 3.0?

I cant find the site where I saw the numbers, just w/ cams it had the HP up to about 275...
