Nat,
the intel chips that are being used by apple are dual core chips and not the run of the mill pentiums that have kept that company afloat for so long.

Well I used, built & set-up built PC's for years. I remember buying Win 95 when it first appeared. I also used 8-bit machines before PC's so I would say I know my way round a computer. I now own a Mac as I Like the operating system. PC's have their advantages (upgrades, hardware, speed etc), but there are too many in-built flaws (eg windows, viruses) for my liking. Who would sell an operating system that won't give 100%.
I'll stick to my (albeit slow) Imac thanks!!

-ashleyI upgraded my intel chip to a EAT. You wouldn't believe the difference it makes in performance + better power efficiency - it cut down my electric bill in half.
