Door sill plates look like crap, and funky idle

Does anyone know where to get door sill plates? Also I've noticed that recently my idle seems to fluctuate, it sounds like the cooling fan kicks on and idles up for a few seconds then comes back down. Any ideas?

you could reset the computer too, wont hurt anything.

disconnect battery and join +terminal and -terminal together for 30 mins (off the battery obviously) then reconnect and the reset should be complete:p
