Pics of E34's with AE/DDE's + Eyebrows/blackout tape?

Hey all, title says it. Im looking for some pics of E34's with AE's with either the top blacked out, or eyebrows.... Im not a huge fan of the round AE, but I havent seen any good looking options out there... so, if you have em, post em up!!! :)

Go under. Like everything, I take my time and research in selection so these are really, really nicely lit. They are CCFL based. There is actually another reason I'm not going to go through with it...

I installed brows and in order install these, I will have to remove them. Instead of using screws, I used GOOP (high strength glue) and it will be hell to try and take them off... or the mess that would ensue after. It's my oversight :( It's heck to even take off the grill now.

thx they were like 60 bucks shipped on ebay. u need to tape em too though.. the brows don't fully cover the tops

that is the best E34 with AE's Ive ever seen. Very nicely done.

Incantation, could you do me a favor? can you take a pic with the headlights off, flash on from the front of the car below the level of the lights? I want to see how the eyebrows look with the tape there...

ebay yea.. they were the motorized version and i paid something like 70 bucks shipped however they are incompatible with the e34 (and any other bmw i imagine) because they only have 3 wires (stock have 4) and can only be wired to go either up/down or left/right

having said that.. i had em wired.. and they worked shxtty for a minute then i pulled the wires and just moved it by hand. since installing i have only set them once and never had to re-set them so.. shrug.. your call if they're worth it or not

the signal indicators in the unit are nice tho.. at night they are bright and very effective.. not as effective during the day though. another thing is they come also with a blue LED so you can have the car set to either orange or blue.. or you can have the blue on all the time with orange blinker

anyway.. the signal ones with no motor are like 20-30 bucks i think

i think i misread what you meant earlier.. here are a few shots without the eyebrows. looks like the lowbeam has developed a ripple.. probably cuz of the heat; it's not visible with the eyebrow on.

Awesome! thats exactly what I was looking for!!!

Now, since I havent ordered any eyebrows, and Im not convinced I like them or that Id be willing to have them color matched (lazy). Im thinking since I have smoked Lamin-X on my headlights, you wouldnt notice the tape across the top of the lights, I am also going to blackout the chrome trim around the lights anyway. Im gonna experiment with blackout tape (Just got 3 rolls of 1 3/4" and I have a 120' roll of 3/4"... so I gots enough to play with).

Ill get some pics up if it works.

yea man i think you're right.. but are those covers? i mean.. when you get the angel eye depo ones can u put the dark finish on top?

Yea, its Lamin-X... pretty cheap stuff too... protects from rock chips and such..

I think I can peel the cover up, put the blackout down, and then apply the cover over it...

No AE's yet... still looking for a good pair...of eyebrows too. I also have the m5 lights, with turn signals... Just haven't installed yet. Still quite fond of the 95 mirrors.
