window problem

hi, it was just pouring outside, and i noticed that my rear window was leaking, so i checked if the window had a crack in it, and there was, but i couldnt get the window back up. i've had the problem where the window would get stuck, but i would normally be able to assist the window up enough to the point where it wont leak by just pushign against it with my hand, but now since i've messed with it so much tonight i cant seem to get the window to move at all, now the window is stuck completely inside the door. i tried using a coat hanger to try and get it from teh bottom. (worst idea ever) any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Im afraid this wont be very helpful, but i think you will need to remove the door panel at some point. With the panel off, you will be able to see the glass and tell what is wrong (probably gears or teeth stripped off.
